LATEST OF THE PROGRESS

My latest progress now for my promotion on wood carving is making some posters to promote Desa Ukiran Kayu. Unfortunately, i can't  post it yet because it still in progress in adobe but i will post it as soon as possible. For this post i just want to share what exactly have in the Desa Ukiran Kayu gallery.


The image that shown below is 3 galleries represent 3 types of Palembang house when they are first came to Terengganu a few decade ago.

PLANNING FOR MY FYP

Last Wednesday i done consult with my supervisor about what method i'm gonna do for my next step. For now i just download a few images from the internet but unfortunately my supervisor not quite satisfy with it, so i need to redo it a new one.

So for the solution, my supervisor suggest me to take a real photo for my references in my promotion. So, i need to come back to my hometown to take the photos. The photo must be in various angle to make it interesting when it come to poster later.

For now many things i need to find out about my project. It's make me dizzy every time i think about it. Every time think about FYP i got some headache but i know this will be fun and useful someday.

What is promotion?

Promotion as a general term includes all the ways available to make a product or service known to and purchased by customers or clients.

This time I'm responsible for promoting wood carving for my final year project. This project a bit challenging but  attractive since I can add a new knowledge about traditional wood carving.

Wood carving is a traditional Malay wooden artwork premier. There are 2 type of techniques in wood carving. First, 'Tebuk Tebus' technique and the second one is 'Tebuk Timbul' technique.

Pattern for this wood carving have 3 types including 'Pola Bujang', 'Pola Lengkap' and the last one is 'Pola Pemidang'.

MY RESEARCH

Let me share with you guys what titleI'm gonna do for my FYP. I'm quite happy for approval from my lecturer but it's quite hard actually for my task later. My title for my FYP is 'Promosi Desa Ukiran Kayu Tengku Long'. So this is my first images i want to show for my fellows. Please enjoy it.
